So here's a little bit about me if you are wondering who is exactly is behind the video camera! My name is Julia, and I absolutely adore makeup. It all started with art, I loved creating things that I could call my own whether it was a painting or a sketch, I never could get enough of art. This love for art expanded into the world of makeup and, frankly, I couldn't stop myself. I loved the fact that I could make myself look differently every single day (it keeps things interesting and my boyfriend entertained). However, I found myself getting better and better at it and decided to start doing makeup on others. This is where I became fascinated. Every face was like a new adventure, a new canvas of possibility. This is why makeup is so challenging, because not every face is the same.
This is where I had my first epiphany, and thought that if I could show people how to do all kinds of looks, someone would become inspired and begin to do looks all on their own. I still love this thought, that I can inspire and instill some sort of creativity in another person.
As for my blog, for those of you who don't know, I love to write. In fact, I am an English major and wish to pursue a career in writing and hopefully become a novelist some day. I will be writing about my looks on here, including detailed information not given in the video and a list of products and prices. And for my more personal writing, you can visit my Tumblr. Here I will have writings on things that inspire me, writings that will (hopefully) inspire you, and even advice on difficult situations.
